ACTRA Studio ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the ACTRA Studio mobile application and website.

By using ACTRA Studio, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

• Account information — email address and display name when you create an account
• Audio and video recordings — self-tape recordings and rehearsal sessions you create
• Script and scene content — scripts, sides, and documents you upload or type
• Usage data — how you interact with the app, features used, and session duration
• Device information — device type, operating system version, and app version

Microphone and Camera Access

ACTRA Studio requests access to your microphone and camera solely to enable self-tape recording and AI scene reading features. We do not access your microphone or camera in the background.

Photo Library Access

ACTRA Studio may request access to your photo library so you can save self-tape recordings to your camera roll or import media. We only access photos you explicitly select.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the ACTRA Studio service
• To power AI scene reading and rehearsal features
• To store and retrieve your scripts, recordings, and audition materials
• To send important service updates and notifications
• To respond to support requests

Data Storage and Security

Your d ata is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure with industry-standard encryption. You can delete your content and account at any time from within the app settings.

Third-Party Services

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Anthropic / OpenAI — AI-powered scene reading and script analysis
• Apple — payment processing for in-app purchases

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from within ACTRA Studio under Settings → Account → Delete Account. Your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Third-Party AI Services

ACTRA Studio uses third-party AI services to power rehearsal and voice features. When you use the Rehearse Scene feature, your script text is sent to Anthropic (Claude AI) for scene partner dialogue generation. When you use AI Voice features, your script text and session data are sent to ElevenLabs for AI voice synthesis.

Data sent to these services is used solely to generate responses within the app and is subject to their respective privacy policies:

ACTRA Studio does not sell this data to third parties. Audio recordings made within the app are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to any third-party service unless you explicitly choose to export or share them.

Children's Privacy

ACTRA Studio is rated 12+ and is not directed at children under 12. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 12.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Your continued use of ACTRA Studio after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
